Gender-affirming support that listens, responds, and stays with you.
Mission-led, not profit driven.
As a trans+ owned and led service, we’re here for those in our community who've been left waiting, turned away, or made to fight for their own care.
All clinical decisions delivered by UK-registered professionals, including clinicians registered with the GMC, NMC, HCPC, COPC, BPS amongst others.
Pride In Health is a community-led organisation with a commitment to being a not-for-profit with all profits being reinvested into the work we do, connecting trans, non-binary, and intersex people in the UK (aged 18+) with trusted independent healthcare professionals. Through a multidisciplinary team (MDT), we offer access to flexible, affirming, and accessible healthcare support, whether you need Prescribing Support, shared care, or additional help while self-managing your gender journey.
We work under the informed consent and harm reduction models, ensuring that support is tailored to your needs without unnecessary barriers or long wait times. Our goal is simple; to help you access safe, affirming healthcare on your terms.
We have a growing team of UK registered health professionals including GMC registered doctors, NMC registered nurses, and psychologists registered with HCPC, BPS, COPC, and ACCPH.
As we all know, there’s no shortage of people in our community who’ve been left waiting. Left to figure it out on their own. Told no, again and again. We’ve seen it. We’ve lived it. And that’s why we built this space.
Pride In Health offers access to affirming, community led support. We work with trusted UK registered clinicians who understand the importance of listening first, and making sure care is shaped around your needs.
Everything we do is rooted in harm reduction and informed consent. We believe people deserve support that meets them where they are, without gatekeeping or shame.
This isn’t a replacement for the NHS. It’s a response to the gaps. And it’s held together by community.
You can access support through three main pathways:
Care is led by independent UK registered clinicians including doctors, nurses, and psychologists. Everyone works collaboratively, with your wellbeing at the centre.
We use a secure online system (Carebit) to help you stay in control of your care. You can manage appointments, access records, update and share information with your GP or other providers when needed.
We don’t list every clinician by name on the site, partly for safety and partly because this service isn’t about individuals, it’s about the care we create together.
What we can tell you is that every clinical decision is made by qualified professionals. The team includes GMC registered doctors, NMC registered nurses, and psychologists registered with HCPC, BPS, COPC, and ACCPH. We also have an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist offering supervision and oversight.
We trust the people we work with because we’ve built this service together; through lived experience and expertise. And we know that what matters most is how care is felt, not how it’s framed.
If you're interested in being a part of growing our services, you can view our open positions on our Work With Pride page.
Pride In Health is a limited company operating as a not-for-profit. That means any income goes directly back into building services, strengthening systems, and supporting our team.
We had hoped to convert to a Community Interest Company, but due to financial and structural barriers, that’s not something we can move forward with right now. Still, the principle remains the same. This is not a business driven by profit. It’s a project built for and by the community we serve.
The Pride Kaleidoscope represents the diversity of our community, with the pink triangle at its core, reclaimed as a sign of strength and resilience. Each colour in our logo reflects our dedication to supporting every part of our trans, non-binary, and intersex community:
Our logo is more than an image, it’s a promise that at Pride In Health, you are seen, respected, and valued.
New accounts and bookings can continue, though there may be some delays with responses from 25th to 31st of August while we onboard new psychologists and doctors and complete planned system updates. Existing appointments will continue as normal. For more information, please see our Contact Us page.
